Windows 10: Dell Inspiron Restore inturrupted - Now it won't boot. Trying to boot from USB.

I have a Dell Inspiron 11" P24T laptop from about 2016-ish. My kids were using it for online-school, but it was going really slow, so I initiated a system restore using the Dell wizard on the PC. The charger plugged into the laptop wasn't working and the PC died in the middle of the restore, and now it says there is no bootable devices.


I flashed a new Windows 10 ISO to a USB I formated as ExFAT, to accomodate the large 'install.wim' file My Bios doesn't allow for USB in priority list unless I change it to Legacy instead of UEFI, but it still gives me the error message... I have to add a boot option from file browser. This way, it finds the USB, but it doesn't see anything on the USB to add as a boot option.


I can't find anyone solving this with the BIOS menus like mine. Its running Aptio Setup Utility BIOS version 2.4.0.


Anyone have help/ideas?

My pc won´t boot Windows 10 from USB/DVD

So I wanted to change from my Windows 10 x32 bits to 64x. I downloaded the Mediacreationtool and used it in both a USB and a DVD. Tried used the usb, the disk and both at the same time but they won´t boot.

I have a P7H55-M motherboard, the BIOS is updated and configured to boot first DVD, second usb and third SATA.

So if someone could help me it´d be great.

 

Boot problems with Dell Inspiron Laptop

Ok so the problems with my Dell Inspiron 5577 laptop started when it closed while performing a factory reset. Ever sonce then its been unable to boot up. Now when i turn it on it askes me to enter the system password, when i do so it just says “cannot
find enabled boot device/media.”. I have no idea what is wrong with this thing, please let me know any suggestions you have.

 

Help with USB Boot Image

I am trying to boot from my USB flash drive. I followed the instructions step for step that are in the article on this website. I downloaded the HP program and the USB Image zip file. I ran the HP flash program and pointed it to the folder where I unzipped the USB Image files to. I then copied all the files over to the USB memory stick as instructed. When I restart my computer and press F12 to go to the boot menu I have 3 options: SATA hard drive, CD-ROM drive, or USB Device. So I choose USB device and when it reads the USB memory stick all I get is the error "Non-system disk, replace and hit any key" Its like the USB memory is missing some system files or it doesnt have the master boot record or something. Somebody please HELP!!! I want to flash the bios in a new video card and I have to boot to DOS and I dont have a floppy drive and I have Win XP so a USB boot is probably the best option I have.
