Windows 10: Dell Keyboard not working properly.

I have a Dell Inspiron 320 Desktop PC running Windows11 Home edition. The keyboard is a DELL KB216P USB keyboard. At the point of entering my PIN the numeric keypad works. As soon as Windows starts, the numeric keypad stops responding with number outputs. The second function such as down arrow still function. It is as though the NumLock keypress is not recognised although the LED for the function illuminates. Windows 11 has blocked me from trying other keyboard drivers, reporting the HID compliant keyboard is the best driver. Selecting HID compliant input device as the driver stops it working

Suggest you to plug in an external keyboard to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

First of all, I would suggest you to install all the latest updates released by Microsoft from Windows Updates and check if that helps or not. And to update your drivers, please follow the steps and let us know if it helps fixing the issue or not:

Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on
Control Panel; select System and Maintenance.

• Click on Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, locate Keyboard and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
• Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.
