    Dell Latitude E7440 not detecting AC power supply.


    I have a dell latitiude E7440 Windows 10 that is not detecting the AC power supply. When in Device Manager, it is showing the ACPI- Compliant Control Battery method twice. I have tried to update the drivers (all up to date already) and also uninstall and install the AC power and battery drivers (restarting and disconnecting the power and battery also) Nothing seems to be solving the problem. I have run all diagnostics and system is fine except for it telling me that the AC power is not connected. For clarity I have tried a different power supply and battery so its not this.


    Can anyone help please?

    Which Suitable/Compatible Graphic Drivers for Windows..... for Dell Latitude E7440

    Hi There

    Please advise which type of Graphic Driver/s is/are suitable for Dell Latitude E7440 Laptop running Intel Core i5 4310U and HD Graphics 4400. The machine originally came with W8.1 Pro, and now running W10 Pro.

    My confusion when visiting Dell as against Intel's support sites was finding the latest Drivers from Intel but only for W7 to W8.1 while Dell gives it for W10 as well. But, in between the two, they don't match.

    Or, the other uclear question is whether I should update the Graphics Drivers at all..... very ignorant of all these stuff... sorry... Thanks.

    JBL PowerUp AC power supply?

    Hello all,

    I've been eyeing a PowerUp for a while now, and am considering getting one from the U.S., since they're becoming hard to come by in Australia. What I'd like to know is, will I have to get a new (Australian) AC power supply cord, or can I use an AC adapter/transformer
    with the existing power supply?

    Thanks! I went to a local electronics store asking this same question, and I was told that my best bet would be to use a plug-in adapter/transformer that I plug the included AC power supply into, although I
    may be able to use a local AC power supply and plug that straight into the PowerUp. To be sure, I would have to bring it in to the store to see what works.



    I have a PowerUp on the way - will update after it arrives.
