Windows 10: Dell monitor keeps signing itself in

My new Dell computer (using a Dell monitor) goes from visible to mouse-type without warning. I went to Device Manager and expanded the Monitor tab. I found three generic PnP monitors listed. Upon advice, I uninstalled them and rebooted. The result was just what I wanted: large, visible picture with readable type.

But it didn't last. Soon, I encountered the same shrunken image with everything made small. So I repeated, and shortly after rebooting to a satisfactory result, the relapse occurred.

I did this several times before visiting the Dell site, where I downloaded the driver for my monitor. I installed it and found it at the top of the list in Device Manager -- with two zombie generic PnP monitors just below. Instead of uninstalling these again, I tried disabling them. It worked for only a short time. Arrghh. So here I am, squinting to read what I'm typing and hoping someone can come up with a permanent solution. I'm counting on you folks!

Monitors may not work as expected if the driver is not up-to-date. With this said, we suggest that you check if you have the latest drivers installed. In addition, we would like to ask some questions that may help us to isolate the issue.

• Does the external monitor work with your laptop before?
• Have you tried to connect the external monitor to your desktop?
• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Dell Monitor Touch Screen MOnitir & Windows 10

Since installing Windows 10, I cannot enable the touchscreen on my Dell S2240T monitor. The pen/touch option is not showing in hardware/sound nor can I find it under the HID list either. Any Suggestions?

You need to have a Port replicator depending on the model. Because some monitors supports 3 monitors and some needs to have port replicator to connect 3 monitors. However, I suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if that
