Windows 10: Dell PS511 Soundbar driver error

Hi guys!


I have a problem with a driver to a Soundbar Dell PS511. On the old laptop win 10, latest release the driver works. I plugged in the device to the new laptop and I got a driver error. When I troubleshot I get the information that USB Audio Device has a driver problem. I click to fix it and then I get the information that troubleshot couldn't identify the problem. Then I click to get feedback on this problem. The unexpected error occurs, so I cannot provide you with more details. Please let me know what I can do with this issue. The driver is no longer available on the producer webpage.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device?
   
3. Which version of Windows is running on your device?
   

You may try the below suggested step and check if the issue still persists.

Method 1

Set LG Soundbar as default play back device

1. Click on Volume icon from the taskbar.
   
2. Click on Sounds and click on
   Playback tab.
   
3. Select LG Soundbar and click on Set as default to check the status of the issue.

I suggest you to refer the article Fix sound problems in Windows 10
for more troubleshooting steps.

If the issue still persists try updating the latest Firmware & Drivers from the
manufacture’s website.

Click on Support section and select the preferred option under
Contact Us to get in touch with the manufacturer support for the further assistance.

USB Soundbar Driver Error (Error code 10 the I/O request was cancelled)

Hi i need some help with my Dell PS511 USB Soundbar always said Driver error in my PC.

At first i'm using windows 10 build 1709. Then assuming the windows was broken or something. i do clean install. But after that the problem still occur.

Then i asking for help from windows customer support. He do alot of troubleshooting but still can't found a solution. After that he's suggesting that i need to upgrade my windows version, now at build 1803. And same problem still occur. Then he suggest i do
clean install again. But i don't think its gonna help at this point and its very time consuming to install all my apps again. So i give up on the windows tech guy (He say i need to ask for help from my computer manufacturer).

Then i ask for MSI technical support (MSI Z170i Gaming Pro AC Motherboard). It was very disappointing. The guy just can't get to the point. And in the end he just give up.

Sorry for bad english and i hope someone know how to fix this problem before i throw away this brand new speaker :/

PS: I try the speaker on Alienware M14x R2 2011 and my other desktop it works fine just plug and play thats why i insist that someone might know how to fix this.
