Dell S2340T Monitor camera not working with Windows 11 on Lattitude 7430 is there a driver for windows 11?using USB adapter and dock - touch works, but not the camera

Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

UPDATE; Sometimes things are not what they seem!

I discovered that the problem as described above is NOT due to the Dell touch monitor (S2340T). In fact the only relationship the monitor has to the issue is that whenever I plug my Lenovo Yoga into it I also close the lid on the computer. As it turns
out, closing the lid on this Ultrabook is the problem with Windows 10. I didn't have this issue with Windows 8. If I simply leave the lid open, everything works great.

As far as the Yoga is concerned, flipping the lid over also causes the system to slow when in Tablet mode. This is a major problem as it negates the reason for having an Ultrabook in the first place....

 

DELL S2340T Monitor not detected Surface Pro 2 / Windows 10

I recently updated my Surface Pro 2 to Windows 10 and immediately lost access to my DELL S2340T display which had been working fine under 8.1.

Monitor displays a startup screen so is being powered OK, I've updated the DisplayLink software, but cannot seem to get the monitor to work.

Can anyone help? Can't find any articles that are helpful here or elsewhere.
