Windows 10: Dell support assistant

Discus and support Dell support assistant in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I am trying to scan computer using Dell support assistant, and it will do everything but scan hardware.     Dell support assistant


    I am trying to scan computer using Dell support assistant, and it will do everything but scan hardware. I can update drivers and everything else, but scan hardware. I have tried rebooting several times then running support assistant, but still nothing The contract expired 3 years ago. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Support Assist.

    My support assist is not responding.

    When I attempted to go to my control panel and programs I looked for H support to repair and I do not have an HP support list in my programs at all.

    What is my next step please?

    Dell Support System Fails to Open and Update


    Dell recently updated their support assist platform. It wouldn't work on my pc either. What I had to do was completely remove dell support assist from my pc, which I did with Revo Unistall to get a complete removal, and then go to Dell website to download the suggested support assist for my particular pc. Installed and rebooted and it works fine. It does say I need to update my wifi driver but that fails on install. Not really worried because the current driver seems to be preferred by windows. I believe you can have support assist dismiss the "update driver" request.

    Update: I misspoke. They isn't a way to have support assist dismiss the driver update request. Unless I'm missing it.
