Windows 10: Dell TouchPad no longer working, Tried FN + F3 and it doesn't work.

    Dell TouchPad no longer working, Tried FN + F3 and it doesn't work.


    Tried Device Manager but all that comes up is HID mouse which is the external mouse I've connected myself. The dell touchpad driver isn't showing up anymore. I tried reinstalling Synaptics driver but it isn't installing some Synpatics Mouse Driver. I tried Dell Touchpad Assistant but the Assistant only shows the mouse settings not touchpad settings. what should I do?Device specs : Dell Inspirion 5521

    Cursor has disappeared. Fn + f3 won't work

    What the title says.

    fn + f3 won't work and enable touchpad isn't showing in settings. My computer is a Gateway Windows 10

    Some fn+fkey (f3,f4, etc.) don't work

    Hello. Ever since I changed to Windows 10, I lost the ability to use some fn shortcuts. I can no longer use fn+f3, f4, f9 and I also can't use the NVidia key, nor the Steam key. I have an Asus ROG G751jy gaming laptop.

    fn+f3 = dim keyboard backlight

    fn+f4 = brighten keyboard backlight

    fn+f9 = toggle touchpad

    On that model, the Fn + F7 keyboard shortcut does toggle on/off the touchpad . . .

    If that does not get your touchpad working:

    Click the link below to go to the support page for your laptop

    On that page 2 touchpad device drivers (Symantec and Elan) are listed, try installing each of those, only the correct one will install, the other one will refuse to install

    That will hopefully get your touchpad working . . .
