Windows 10: Dell Venue 8 pro's bios freezes when inserted flashdrive

My dell venue 8 pro windows tablet was not booting so I wanted to clean install windows 10 tablet has only 1 port that is mico usb and no other port. When i inserted bootable flash drive whole bios freezes, and im unable to proceed further by searching online i got to know it happens if usb drivers is currupt. But if i connect bluetooth mouse through usb its working fine, only data storing devices like pendrives, sd cards are not working through that port. So, is there any solution for this so tgat i can reinstall windows 10...??

Dell Venue 8 Pro will not wake from sleep in W10

After further searching online, I found the answer on another site. The Dell Venue 8 Pro requires a firmware and BIOS update. I did these and the problem is solved. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Please insert external media storage on dell venue pro 8 5830 after updating windows fall...no usb available in boot manager...this is stuck in a boot loop.

No major dings, scratches, defects visible and has been well cared for since purchase. It's been an excellent machine for browsing and media away from the office with great battery life.
