Windows 10: Dell Wifi 1820A won't start

Discus and support Dell Wifi 1820A won't start in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Just updated to build 11082 of Windows 10. My wifi driver will not install properly.     Dell Wifi 1820A won't start


    Just updated to build 11082 of Windows 10. My wifi driver will not install properly.
    Dell XPS 13 9350

    From the event viewer: Dell Wireless 1820A 802.11ac : The version number is incorrect for this driver.

    Reinstalling drivers doesn't help.
    Any ideas what to do? *Think

    Interesting. Dell XPS is the problem machine here as well. What did you uninstall--was it "WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software, Broadcom Corporation, 12.0.1.790"? I
    think the genesis of this was Dell "Dell Wireless 1550/1560/1704/1708/1820A/1830 Bluetooth Driver" which downloads "Network_Driver_YW21W_WN32_12.0.1.750_A04_01".

    Dell XPS 13 and wifi problems after Windows 10

    I'm also intermittently seeing this exact issue... usually when awaking the computer from sleep. The Wi-Fi symbol will indicate that there are no network connections available. I have noticed that I can disable then enable the driver to get this it to work
    in lieu of restarting the computer completely.

    PC: Dell XPS 13 (2015)

    Network Adapter: Dell Wireless 1820A 802.11ac

    Driver Provider: Broadcom

    Driver Date: 6/4/2015

    Driver Version 1.442.0.0

    I've installed whatever updates are available from Dell.

    EDIT: I've checked for updates through Device Manager rather than the Dell site and Windows found an update. I'll see how this works. The new driver is:

    Driver Date: 11/26/2015

    Driver Version 1.555.0.0
