Windows 10: Dell Windows 10 laptop running very--VERY--slowly

I run Windows 10 on a Dell laptop. For the last few days, the machine has been running extremely slowly, and I can't figure out why. I'm running my usual load--Mail, Firefox, TuneIn, and the occasional Libre Office Writer. I haven't made any changes to my system, and I can't tell anything from the Task Manager--everything is working normally, as far as I can tell. So far, I've tried the following things, all with no success:Reinstall Windows from an .iso file;Run Microsoft Defender Offline;Run a third-party hardware checker; andRun sfc and dism.BTW, my startup is fine--it's the operation that

Computer is running slowly

All of sudden, my Dell laptop running Windows 10, started running very slowly especially downloading pages from the internet. Is there some type of software fix that I run to determine the problem. I've run my McAfee virus scan and it comes up clean.

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


These 7 steps allowed me to disable my touchpad (Dell laptop, Windows 10):

1. Win Start button
2. Type in "device manager"
3. Select Device Manager to open it
4. Click down arrow to left of "Mice and other..." to expand
5. Right click Dell Touchpad
6. Disable device
7. Yes
