Windows 10: Dell windows 11 laptop.. WiFi not available error

Hi, I got the dell and ryzen 5 laptop with windows 11. After the last windows update which was normal my network adapter is connect for sometimes after restart and then disconnects and shows no network found. When I got to help and restart the network adapter.. It connects again and I can see other wifi network as well.. And the cycle repeats. Tried almost everything and finally I found this events manager that it shows error like problem starting.. Oem14.inf.. Source kernel-PnPAny help please

Windows 10 laptop does not see available wifi network

I am in a Florida condo with my Dell Latitude E6520 laptop running Windows 10, and am trying to connect to the unit's wifi. Many available networks in the building are listed, but not the one for this unit. Those of us in the unit with Apple equipment (iphones, iPads and Macbooks) are able to connect to the unit's wifi with no problem, as is one newer Windows 10 laptop. My Dell Latitude has always been connected to my wifi at home, and did connect to the wifi in 2 hotels as we traveled here, but for some reason the network for this unit does not even show up in the list of those available. Any help with this problem will be appreciated. Thank you

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:

• start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
• windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
• various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
• device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.

Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.
