    Hi, Support.It seems we have identified an issue with Windows 11 24H2 where it breaks the font facing camera on a Dell XPS 13 9315 2-in-1.Can you please investigate this and provide a resolution?Any information you need please just ask and I can provide.I have tried installing all latest drivers and firmware from the manufacturers website to no avail.Nothing seems to resolve it apart from rolling it back to 23H2.Thank you,James Stoner

    Dell XPS 13 9315 Camera won't work. Faulty Drivers?

    My Dell XPS 13 9315 Camera won't work. I've made sure to disable antivirus, enable privacy settings, etc. I also don't have buttons/sliders/shutters that toggle the camera. Previous support temporarily solved the solution for a few seconds by playing around with:

    Camera Sensor OV01a

    Intel(R) Visual Sensing Controller Device

    In device manager. However, nothing seems to resolve the issue. Please help!

    Hi Lester!

    I can't remember the exact date it began nor the updates at the time. I only remember that it began around September 2023.

    The problem seems to be with this component. I've tried downloading what I think is the latest driver for this device here: Intel(R) Driver for Camera

    However, using this driver does not work.

    I was previously with a tech support who temporarily resolved this issue for a few minutes, so I know its just a software problem. However, the camera then reverted back to its non-working state.

    What do I do?

    Dell XPS 13 9333 - Windows couldnt not complete the installation, to install windows on this computer, please restart the installation

    According to Dell's official Windows 10 Creators Update page, the Dell xps 13 9333 is not listed as tested:

    You can try a manual upgraded as suggested in my previous reply using the ISO in addition to the 12 steps before upgrading.
