Windows 10: Dell XPS 15 9500 experiencing many issues.

Hello, I have recently gotten myself a XPS 15 9500 and have been experiencing some issues with it.When I first unboxed it, I was met with a headphone jack that wouldn't work unless I reset a driver every time I restarted, or put to sleep my computer, or unplugged my earphones. this being the Intel Smart Sound Technology OEDAt first this was fine, but quickly I was met with my next problem. Microsoft edge would constantly crash when watching any sort of video, gif, or PNG for that matter. I then realized that this effect extended to other apps as well.What made me decide to ask for help is no

Dell XPS 9500 Settings

Hello...I have a brand new Dell XPS 15 9500 with both Intel and Nvidia graphics. Except when I open Nvidia Control Panel and click the image settings I see 0 activity from the discrete Nvidia card (1650Ti). Even then it moves 1 - 2%. Is this normal behavior or should I see more of a balance between the on-processor (Intel UHD) and Nvidia graphics? I assume if I changed from Auto to high performance discrete in Nvidia Control panel that might work...but probably kill battery, correct?

Method 1: I suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter
to check and fix issues with hardware and devices.
Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Update the touchscreen drivers manually from the Device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

1.Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
Device manager from the context menu.

2.Expand Human Interface Device option, right click on the touchscreen driver and select Update this software from the context menu.

3.Follow the on-screen instructions.
