Windows 10: Dell XPS 15 laptop stuck on Windows 11 21H2

For a long time now, my laptop fails to upgrade to the lasted Windows release. Windows Update wants to install version 22H2, installs the relase, then reboots installs everything, and then at the end starts to do a roll back of the installation. The same thing happened multiple times, also with 22H1, and preview versions. The last try today with 22H2 failed with 0x8007001fI also tried using an inplace upgrade from the ISO of Windows 23H2. I have disabled the antivirus, and removed bitlocker encryption, disabled internet connection. The installs runs until it says it needs to reboot several ti

… 4GVGH is for the 84Wh and it’s a 4-cell unit but I’d also recommend the correct AC adapter at the same time.
In post #23 you mention “My laptop 56whr battery is RRCGW”, that matches this eBay item also.

I just found the Dell Precision 5510 Owner's Manual and it lists only 56 WHr or 84 WHr also just like your Dell OEM Original XPS 15 (9550)
Maybe there's hope for your laptop for 97wh battery after all.
I recommend you call the Dell parts store and get the information you need to know.
