Windows 10: Dell XPS Desktop Flashing Orange on Power Button

Hi, I bought a Dell XPS desktop around 5 months ago, and it's been running nicely since up until around a week ago, where the power light would sometimes flash yellow three times and white twice. It's also been running a little slower since then. I looked it up, and couldn't find any clear instructions about what was happening, and so I'm putting it through a reset and it's still doing it. Could someone tell me what this means and how I can solve it?

Possibly you need a new battery (but do read several of the forum threads that Google found).

Beeps on startup or shutdown generally indicate a hardware error of some sort.

A flashing orange power button indicates a possible fault in the motherboard.

Usually, when a computer unexpectedly shuts down by itself, that indicates an overtemperature condition, but it seems unlikely that things would heat up to that extent in only 3 minutes unless there's a more serious hardware problem.
