    DELL XPS13 Black screen on startup


    My laptop starts up to a black screen. If I go into recovery mode and then try to boot in safe mode it doesn’t work. If the mouse shows up on the black screen, control alt delete doesn’t work. I believe this happened because my laptop died in the middle of installing a windows update. I have tried uninstalling the updates from recovery mode as well as resetting windows from a previous state. I have not tried a full reset, but before I do does anyone know how to delete graphics drivers from the command prompt/ know any other fixes? Thanks

    I just got the new Dell skylake xps13 16gb/1tb with touch screen. Has anyone managed to revert to windows 7? I a really struggling with Windows 10 and want to go back to what works.

    Could you please answer few questions:


    • When you say “Now, nothing is on my desktop” what exactly are you referring to?

    • Are you getting black screen after Sign in?
