Windows 10: Dell XPS13 consistently crashes while sleeping or hibernating

Hello,


I have a Dell XPS running Win 10 that crashes once or twice a day while it's either sleeping, hibernating, or otherwise "dark" I can't say as I recall seeing an actual BSOD. I'll walk away from the PC for a while and come back to find that it has restarted. I'm pasting a dump file below, but I must warn you that I'm not a programmer. Can someone point me in the right direction here?

Sleep and Hibernation

I have Dell Latitude E6410. The sleep and hibernation function worked extremely well under Windows 7. I have upgraded to Windows 10 and it no longer works. I can manually put computer into sleep/hibernation but it will NOT automatically do it after specified
period of time. I have checked all my power settings and they are correct. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Windows 10 Hibernate/Sleep Crash

Hello, I am having the same problem also, it crashes to blue screen with DPC_Watcdog_Violation when waking my laptop either after sleep or hibernate. It also runs very hot. My is a Dell XPS 1702.

Usually, Sleep and Hibernate features are used to save power when using a computer. However, hibernate may not be available for all PCs as it was designed for laptops. Regarding your concern, since you’re trying to turn
off or disable these features, you may follow the step below:

• To turn off Sleep:
  
  Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep. Then, select
  Never from the drop-down list under the Sleep section.
  
  
  
  
  
• To disable Hibernate:
  

• Type Command Prompt in the Search box from
  Start.
• Right-click on it, then select Run as administrator.
• In the Command Prompt window, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off and press
  Enter. Close the window.
