    Dell XPS15 constantly BSODs on Driver Power State Failure


    Windows 11. All drivers updated to my knowledge. Dell already replaced the defective mobo. BSODs are random. They occur whether peripherals are plugged in or not. I've had issues with the device getting too hot for no reason. Often says "IPF error". Dump files below.minidumps

    BSOD: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE

    Hello,

    I've been attempting to repair a device for some time with no luck. Laptop is a Dell Precision 5560

    Device powers on successfully and runs 2-10 minutes before returning the BSOD Driver Power State Failure.

    I have updated the BIOS, reinstalled the OS using Dell's built in recovery, messed with the sleep setting like some people suggested on Dell forums and I still can't get the error to stop. I have taken the device apart and run physical diagnostics and return no error codes from there.

    Just wondering if anyone can help me to a potential solution.
