    Denied Admin Privileges Despite Clear Admin Status After Getting Laptop Fixed by HP


    A few days ago I received my HP Spectre back from HP after a motherboard issue was fixed. I believe HP reset my laptop as part of that, so I'm assuming that is the cause for my lack of access. Here's the problem:I'm trying to save a screenshot to a personal file created under 'Users' in 'Windows C:' in File Explorer, and I keep getting a message that says I don't have permission for that, contact the admin to obtain permission.

    you get admin privileges, or you don't run VPC.

    defragmentation denies my admin privilege

    I realized that to do disk defragmentation it requires admin privilege.. however my pc seems to denies my admin privilege.. It keeps on popping up message unable to run mmc .dfrg.msc ... and even if I tried the one without the cmd it says that my admin
    password is wrong.. please help.. I know my password is right cuz ive tried a couple of times logging in and out of the Microsoft account.
