Windows 10: Deny anyone & anything 'permissions' to access my work computer

Thanks to the help I've recieved here

I'm about to reset my laptop to factory defaults (clean sweep) and then I would like to deny all permissions to everyone,anyone,anything, and eveything except me. ACCESS DENIED What is the simplest most straightforward way to accomplish this ??? please

External Hard Drive Acess Denied on Windows 10

Same problems...access denied, no permissions to do anything. This is a brand new computer, the issue cropped up when installed the anniversary update. File history and external drive worked before anniversary update. Rolled back to original build, problem
persists...there are NO viruses or malware present.

I would suggest that you password your account (Keeping it secret) & not activating any of the other accounts associated with the machine. That should do it!

 

and encrypt the hard drive/SSD. Also, at a minimum, set a supervisor password in the bios/UEFI to prevent unauthorized booting of the computer from an external media.
