    Desk top showed update cum. upd KB5018410 for pc last night,


    This morning the dots were circling and stopped. Microsoft account was being asked for. Since I have not logged on this account for years I continued. When the desk top finally appeared it was changed. Missing tons of files on the desk top screen. It was as if everything was cleared and it was a new software set up. I have lost pics, finance and all kinds of Office files. What must be done! What can be done?

    The windows app is not showing up on my desk top pc.

    the windows app is not showing up on my desk top pc . But it showed up on my laptop will i still get the free upgrade to windows 10

    Windows Mobile Device Center on Desk Top

    Since you already tried the compatibility settings and other troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you uninstall the newest update to isolate the issue. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the Search bar, type in Programs and Features and select the top most result.
    • On the left menu, select View installed updates.
    • Right click on the newest update and click Uninstall.

    Monitor the Windows Mobile Device Center and see if there are any changes. If possible, try to reinstall the update and see if the Windows Mobile Device Center will still work.

    Kindly get back to us with the results.
