Windows 10: Desktop acts as OneDrive desktop as opposed to local, OneDrive already uninstalled

I'm frankly going insane. I want nothing to do with OneDrive anymore, and if I am to use it before I remove any and all files I do still have on my OneDrive, I don't want it installed on my computer.I have 1 TB of storage total on my OneDrive account. I previously used it for moving personal files to a new computer, and didn't want to have any files on it unless they were to be uploaded only on there and not located on my computer locally. I removed anything I downloaded onto my computer from OneDrive from my old computer. This morning I accidentally opted into backing up my files and since th

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

My desktop properties says it is a OneDrive desktop. I have already unlinked this computer from OneDrive and uninstalled it, signed out of Microsoft 365, but don't seem to have a local desktop that I would prefer. How to I get a local desktop instead of a OneDrive desktop?

[/quote] Click to expand... Sorry, but I think you're confused and keep referring to Onedrive. There is a big difference between the consumer version of Onedrive business O365 version. I do not have the consumer version of Onedrive installed... it is Onedrive for Business. Also, this script is for "Onedrive" .... not Onedrive for Business. Thanks anyway.
