Windows 10: Desktop Audio is playing through mic

    Desktop Audio is playing through mic


    I know this same problem has been brought up before but I haven't found anything that works or is remotely helpful main case on here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/audio-playing-through-microphone/fb59dd4e-a6a8-4487-b9cd-806c05152116 Neither of those replies helped, I've checked every sound setting similar to the last guy it's not my hardware, no matter the application my desktop audio goes through the mic channel. My realtek audio console, which has been recommended before, doesn't have any settings other than audio quality nothing about playback. Several people

    My mic is picking up my desktop audio and playing it

    Did you anticipate something different? This is not a Windows issue.

    My mic plays the audio from my desktop (not games) (youtube/discord notifications etc.) but not my voice plays my desktop audio but not my voice

    there is none it just plays the audio from my desktop when im talking when there is nothing on the desktop there is no audio from my mic
