Windows 10: Desktop Background in Win 10 same as Win 8.1pro

I have a triple boot system: Win 7 HP 64bit, Win 8.1Pro, and Win 10 TP 6629. All updates are current. Each OS is on a separate SSD. Win 7 installed first, Win 8.1 second and Win 10 TP last. I believe the System Reserved partition in Win 10 TP controls the boot settings. I set default using Easy BCDEdit.

The situation is the desktop background is the same in both Win 8.1 and Win 10 TP. If I change one OS to another background, usually a slide show, the other OS changes to the same background. I would like to have Win 10TP different that Win 8.1. Is this possible?

Windows 10 upgrade from an activated windows 8.1 headless pc

Hello,

Headless means simply that no possibility exists to connect screen, mouse, keyboard.

PC used for more that just media so I regularly access the PC used as a server by using Remote Desktop.

When running Win 8.1pro upgrades to Win 10pro some access to progress the installation is required
before Remote Desktop Connection can give access to windows screen displays to complete OS installation.

Hence my request for assistance!

As to why upgrade. Win 10 is for me a significant improvement over Win 8.1Pro (security, storage space features etc.)

I think you can by going to systems in the 8.1 install and use the onedrive or skydrive options to stop syncing with the background.
Charms bar / change pc settings / skydrive/ sync settings/

Glad you worked it out. I have 4 desktops running and still trying to sync them the way I want. Today I have my windows 7 theme on my TP desktop and wondering how that happened? Always a work in progress. Good day to you
