Windows 10: Desktop Background Not Syncing Over Azure VPN for AD Users

Hello everyone,I have an on-premises Active Directory hosted in my local environment, which is synced with an Active Directory hosted on Azure. Our AD setup has multiple OUs, and we have planned separate OUs and group policies for different regions: one for India users and another for US users.The issue we are facing is that after connecting to the Azure VPN, the desktop background does not sync for the local systems. However, the background is being reflected correctly when using Remote Desktop Connection to access the Azure servers.I've already checked the wallpaper folder permissions, and t

Moving On-Premise AD Users to Azure AD

Hi,

Currently we have our on-premise AD syncing to our Azure AD. We want to remove our on-premise AD and move all of our users to Azure AD. Since every user is already synced to our Azure AD, can we shut down our on-premise AD and connect our computers to the Azure AD? Will the synced users stay in Azure AD?

I have users to Azure AD and I want those user to sync to Windows AD my understanding is AD azure connect only sync one way that from windows ad to Azure AD but I need something that does it the other way around

 

Azure VPN Client - Configuration options

Hello everyone,

I'm currently deploying the Azure VPN Client in a enterprise environment to several users. However, I noticed that there are not many settings that can be configured during the installation. Below an overview of settings I would like to have configured (during the installation, or afterwards by modifying a registry key or implementing a group policy).

• Azure VPN Client to be configured with the setting "Compact mode" enabled. By default this setting is not enabled and needs to be enabled by the user.
  
• Azure VPN Client prompts "there is a new update available". I would like the "check for updates" feature to be disabled in order to prevent getting users bothered by this notification as they are unable to install software anyways.
