Windows 10: Desktop Color Goes Black For A Few Moments And Then Returns To Normal

Hello,I'm experiencing a problem with the latest version of Windows 10 21H2. Suddenly my desktop changes to black for a few moments, and then it returns to normal. All the icons and everything work OK. It's like I chose to change my color preference.This started to happen when I used Zoom, but now is happening intermittently. It seems to have something to do with my graphics usage. I do have a NIVIDIA graphics card with the latest driver version installed. Does any one have a fix for this?Thanks,Michael

The answer given below did not solve my problem. I followed the steps given and when I returned to my work screen it was still black, there does not seem anyway to save your changes and color selection.

To change the desktop background into a solid color, see the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop, and select Personalize.
• Under Personalization, select Background.
• On the right pane, click on the drop-down menu for Background, and then select
  Solid color.
• Choose your preferred color and it should immediately make changes.

If you want to change the color of a desktops shortcut font (text), then follow the below steps.

Step 1: Right click on an empty space on the desktop and click on 'Personalize'.

Step 2: It gives you the choice between Picture, Solid, or Slideshow under
Background, choose 'Solid' under drop-down list.

Step 3: Set the color to Orange and this will make the shortcut icon text Black.

Step 4: After the above steps, you can set your background image as your choice and the icon font will remain black.

NOTE: You can only change the font color to either White or Black.
