Windows 10: Desktop Completely Inactive and No Icons Appear or Can Be Added Revised

Basic summary of this issue is that two to three days ago after I played Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero, I quit the application and my desktop screen was completely empty and inactive as in I could not interact with the desktop screen in any way as if it does not register any inputs or even exists although in the file manager, I see the "Desktop" folder.To better explain the problem, I want to answer a few questionsoes the issue only occur after playing that game? How did you install the game like via Steam?To my knowledge, this only occurred AFTER playing Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.Since some

Desktop icons are inactive

The issue appeared after installing the latest update. Some desktop icons are inactive - I click on them and nothing is happening. However another icons are active

 

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
