    Hello, I had a desktop computer crash some time ago. I purchased it new around 2004 with Windows 7. I upgraded it to Windows 10 over time. Since crash I have just been using my laptop. I now would like to get the desktop working again. After crash I have tried to restore from an answer that matched my enquiry on Microsoft Community. Although it now works with 7 quite well I notice that the registered product key is not my original. Can you tell me how I can enter my correct key. I have found suggestions on this site how I may do this but I don't seem to be able to do it with instructions given

    Hi Sumit,

    My new HP desktop computer still crashes. I tried following the steps in the link above, How to add a Recovery partition in Windows - Your Windows Guide...

    I am not able to complete or follow the task required to allow you to see what happened with the computer crash. I need an easier step such as a 1 2 3 or and a b c, to-do list in order for me to let you see my System logs.

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Bad Crashes!

    I installed my cards and the HyperSli 0.96 and it seemed to work fine. However no SLI option in Nvidia Control Panel. I have 2 GTX 560TIs but one has less ram so I installed the modded 310.70 driver exactly as suggested. Now I can play no games at all as they crash immediately on launch. Also my computer is randomly crashing and freezing. I had to System Restore just to post on forums. I tried disabling SLI in Control Panel but that crashed the system as well. Please help me!!!
