Windows 10: Desktop documents app versus the This PC documents app reply limitations?

Why is only one reply allowed to a very detailed and complex question, especially when the one reply doesn't answer the question with any detail which makes sense? When many users answer, it usually grants more discussion and much more information about the issues being asked. When a user asked a very detailed question about a very confusing Windows document storage app, only one answer was published. Why? Most sites would publish responses by many users. That usually results in numerous points of view and that allows readers to glean more information about the subject which tends to provide m

Can't open document without an app.

When I try to open any of my documents this morning, I am told I need an app from the app store. I am pretty computer illiterate. Any suggestions, please make them step...by...step. This is infuriating! Help and many thanks.

 

OneDrive app opening Documents folder

Long story short... When I click on my OneDrive app, it opens my Documents folder (folder in 'This PC').

This evening I changed the location of my Documents folder to within OneDrive, and then tried to return it which somehow ended up with 'OneDrive' replacing 'Documents' in the 'This PC' list... I used a .bat file to restore 'Documents to the correct place here, but there still appears to be an issue with Onedrive.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Microsoft PDF and Document Writer not working

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve XPS document writer issues.

• 
  Right click on empty area on Desktop, click on Create and select New text document.
  
• 
  Open the created text document and type some text (input text as you desire, save and close text file)
  
• 
  Again open the text document, click on File tab and click on Print.
  
• 
  Select the Microsoft XPS writer and click on Print button.
  
• 
  You may select the location to save the file.
