Windows 10: Desktop Documents Icon

I have this icon stuck on my desktop, I think if I delete it then it will remove all my documents, also when I restart my computer it comes back even if I delete it I believe.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.

• Which build is currently running on your computer?
• Did you make any recent software changes on your computer?

As an initial step I would suggest you Right click on Desktop Window> View > Check Shows desktop icons, check if the desktop icons are back on desktop.

Check if the Icons or files are available in the My Documents>Desktop folder, check if icons are visible in the folder.
