Desktop does not take up entire screen after using VR headset.

I have an aw3423dwf monitor. Recently I've noticed the desktop image doesn't take up the entire screen. It is close to the bezel but there is still screen display that's not being used. I know this because the image will sometimes shift and one side will have a thicker bar than others. I've tried everything from ratios to recommended res to resetting monitor and Nvidia drivers and all drivers up to date. I suspect it's something with multiple display when using my VR headset. The desktop image shifts slightly sometimes after I'm done using VR. Is this a known issue?

    :)

How to rotate image in VR Headset

    Hello Larry,

Just to verify, are you referring to Mixed Reality headset? If it is a VR Headset you got from a different vendor, my suggestion is to reach out to the manufacturer's support online for further assistance with your VR headset.

Let us know if you need anything else.

  3. Windows 10 and Oculus / VR Headsets

Will Windows 10 have proper support for VR Devices, so that you can look at your desktop or a 2D Non-Stereo Application without going cross-eyed ?

I can imagine that Microsoft is passing that buck to Oculus, and Quite Possibly Occulus to Microsoft. But the bottom line exists that dealing with a VR Headset is a Headache in Windows 7, and even so in Windows 8.1, with Holo-Lens on the horizon, and Oculus
Streaming from XBoxOne it's time for Microsoft to step up and bring their OS into the future.

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Desktop does not take up entire screen after using VR headset. :p
