Windows 10: Desktop freezes in newly installed Windows 11

    Desktop freezes in newly installed Windows 11


    Hi, I've recently updated my Windows from Windows 10 to Windows 11 from automatic 'windows update'. I also have installed a few updates after that. Now, I see some issues only on my desktop like sometimes right-clicking on my desktop does not open the dropdown menu but sometimes it does. Sometimes, the desktop icons like my PC do not open when I try to double click on it but sometimes it opens. This is strange behavior I have seen in Windows 11. Also, it takes a bit longer than Windows 10 to load the files within a folder when I open a folder. Any suggestions to make it faster would be appreci

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows boots to the desktop then freezes

    Yeah...I went to google and got the F8...lol*Stick Out Tongue Desktop freezes in newly installed Windows 11 :p....thxxx

    It boots up in safe mode and seems to work fine. Now I just need to figure out what's causing windows to freeze up befor it fully loads in normal start up operation.

    Any suggestions where I might start ?
