Windows 10: desktop goes black and functions disabled

windows works fine after fresh reboot. then, after no activity for a few hours, or overnight, the computer goes to sleep and when prompted with mouse or key, wakes up with

1. black screen icons still visible although not functional.

2. start icon is either not visible and/or not functional.

3. taskbar icons aren't functional


it's like the computer froze up. I ctrl/alt/delete and restart back to normal desktop background which is plain default and fully functional computer....until it goes back to sleep, which I have to restart every time.


windows is updated and no issues found troubleshooting.


I've never seen or heard of this. please help. please advise. I just want windows to wake up being normal.

Would Nokia or Microsoft has any plan to develop the function of black list and rotation disable?



Why not? Is it very difficult ?

 

Desktop background goes black

I have a picture here of my desktop background. Notice how behind the icons is black. Now the entire background just blacked out. I also have problems with menus in apps. Notice how Synctoy isn't displaying the menu correctly. What is going on?

I also see that you are facing issues with the keyboard this might be due to the corruption of keyboard drivers. I suggest you to run the
