Windows 10: desktop help; movable images/BkGr and borderless windows?

Hi guys and Gals, I know what things I want I don't however know exactly how to do, and subsequently how to go about finding how to do certain things.



I am hoping someone can help and I hope this is the right place for at least some of the things I am seeking help with.



1- I'd like to have or set an Image as a desktop thing* that I can move around set as always on top, or transparent, resize if need be. what I dont want with this is the borders and everything as part of whatever programme it is; kinda like Microsoft Words old and gone Paperclip or more appropriately an insert image file on a word documant, BUT for the desktop as a whole.

* I say thig because I dunno wether it's technically a file icon (I dont think you can set icons to be differfent sizes they will scale up to the same size equally),

2- I use word a lot, 2010 to be precise, is there a way to set the scrolling to follow the line that is being currenly typed on? I either see a wall of text and have to look down, which causes that awkward moment of having to rescroll to centre the page, I know this is a minor gripe.

also is there a way to make it borderless window? or hell every programme to allow this? using screen snap and such feels icky when half of the window is taken up by the , close, restore and minimize bars at the top and bottom of each programme? that has a double click to show the borders...?



for now I think these two things are what I'd like most help with and thanks for taking the time to read and reply.

Help, cant create windows image

It seems like some sort of an OS confusion has happened with your secondary WD Black and I'm sorry to hear about that. *Frown
Maybe re-formatting it would help indeed as the community already mentioned. I'd suggest to take a look at this step-by-step how to partition and format an HDD: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=PYCoid
Keep in mind that this will wipe clean the drive, so you should backup all important data from the drive somewhere else.
I noticed from the screenshots that your HDD appears as Disk 0, this means that it's plugged in the primary SATA port where the SSD (as an OS drive) should be. Actually it is possible that because of this Windows cannot create the image there. Swap the ports of the SSD and the HDD, this might help as well.

vertical movable line on desktop in windows 10

Hello,

I can see a vertical movable line on the desktop when i click on the "show desktop" icon on the right corner. The line can be placed anywhere from extreme left to the portion till where the notification pane appears on the right. Right click on the line
gives close restore minimize and maximize option too. It is no way helpful in snapping windows also. But i dont see any significant use of it. Also i cant get it on my desire. It appears on its own. What is this movable line?

 

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?
