Windows 10: Desktop icons gone mad.

Desktop icons gone mad. Icon text is located to right of icon instead of below Fig 1. If any alignment is selected Icons that have been manually placed are instantly moved back to original location. If small icons are selected figure 2 and a couple of the icons are repositioned, as soon as you select medium icon everything is. again reset. to figure 1. Significant? Just installed Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5051989 Resubmitted because title & detail got confused. Fig 1:Fig 2

Phone gone mad

I've bought a Lumia 1020 today. When I turned it on at the first time it froze twice before I could go through the initial steps. It has gone mad, the screen is unresponsive, it starts apps like mad, jumps around, I can't turn it off because it starts again
immediately. The backside is very hot. Unusuable. Ideas?

 

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

Hi Laurie,

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
