Windows 10: desktop icons keep moving into default place

I want to organize my desktop and sort my app for me to find which app I need to open for work. However, whenever I tried to move to the right side, it's going back to the left side by default. Is there a possibility to do that?

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

> Check for Updates.

We also recommend changing the desktop icon settings. To access it, follow these steps:

  Uncheck Allow themes to change desktop icons.

After installing the latest updates and changing the desktop icon settings, check if you can place icons on the left side of your screen.

Desktop Icon Keeps On Moving

That's because your resolution is changing each time. To test, try setting to 1024x768, arrange a couple of icons and then restart the PC. As long as the resolution after startup is still 1024x768, then the icons won't move. Trust me. *Wink
