Windows 10: Desktop icons move on start-up

I use a multi-monitor 2 set up in which the monitors can work together or independently. About one third of the desktops is covered by icons for applications or files/folders I use frequently. These icons are grouped into clusters based on subject matter to help me find them. Whenever I shut down evenings and start up mornings the icons automatically returned to their selected spaces on the desktops.. Since a few days ago, the icons do not return to their selected spaces but, except for a few, all cluster along the left edge of the #1 monitor, which I then have to sort out. When I shut d

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
