Windows 10: Desktop icons on right side is laggy + Laggy highlight box

Discus and support Desktop icons on right side is laggy + Laggy highlight box in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Im having an issue where when i hover over desktop icons on the right side of my screen, it skips over a few in the middle where as this doesnt happen...     Desktop icons on right side is laggy + Laggy highlight box


    Im having an issue where when i hover over desktop icons on the right side of my screen, it skips over a few in the middle where as this doesnt happen on the left side. Im also getting an issue where when i make a highlighted box and continue to move my mouse, the box just stays there for a few seconds until i stop moving my mouse.     My new cpu came today and it worked fine all morning but now its doing it again.

    These past 2 weeks Ive reset and formatted my pc 4 times, ive bought a new ssd, motherboard and cpu. Ive also tried a different gpu and psu but the issue is still there. Ive tried sfc scans, disms commands, repair tools, media creation, disabling effects, drivers, resetting bios.

    Is this a windows problem?

    laggy performance when selecting large number of desktop icons

    My laptop is laggy when selecting many desktop icons (Using the mouse right-click and then dragging the mouse over the icons with the blueish/transparent square). I don't think it's hardware issue because the CPU is Intel i7-5500u.

    **What I mean by laggy is that while you draw that square over the icons it gets slow until you finish selecting.

    Talking about that: (In that picture there are no icons, I just wanted to show what I mean by the blueish/transparent square)

    Thanks. What I mean by selecting multiple icons is just hovering this blue box over a bunch of icons (For example when I want to move a group of icons across the deskop to arrange it). I know it's laggy because when I hover this box over an empty space it runs smoothly, but as soon as I hover it over a bunch of desktop icons it moves slow

    windows 10 is laggy

    windows 10 has been acting a bit laggy after a fresh install of the anniversary update. typing words is laggy, opening apps take a bit longer than usual, and whenever i move the mouse around, the apps take a few seconds to highlight. I need help!
