    Desktop icons rearrange to the same random places every startup


    Basically no matter what, every time I start my PC up my desktop icons just rearrange to random places on the desktop like a bomb got dropped in the middle of them. What's weirder is that they go to the same spots every time. This is infuriating to no end, does anyone know how to fix this?

    In order for us to find out what causes your screen to go blank and rearrange the desktop icons, we would like to gather more information:

    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • When did you start experiencing this issue?

    Desktop icons rearrange at random

    Using Windows 10. Screen goes blank, then rearranges all my desktop icons. Very irritating. How do I keep icons in permanent place?

    Desktop Icons won't stay in same place

    I have to constantly rearrange my desktop icons to there original places, is there a setting to stop this????
