Windows 10: Desktop icons symbols randomly rearrange

I have a Problem on my Windows 10 Home 10.0.19045 Desktop PC.1. Monitor: 3440x14402. Monitor 1920x1080 turned off!Windows+P Settings set to PC screen onlyProcossor: AMD Ryzen 2600Graphics Card: AMD rx 580I am not sure how it started, but my desktop icons/symbols were moved to the top left corner, randomly arranged and not packed. When I try to rearrange them they suddenly and randomly move back to the top left corner again. It happens in the moment I let go an icon and after I moved all icons once and some of them more then once. The "Arrange symbols automatically" setting is disabled.I am

Desktop Icons scattering randomly while rearranging

I have the same issue as this question, however none of those suggested fixes have worked. I am currently on windows 10 with multiple monitors, but this has been a perpetual issue for multiple versions of windows (I don't actually know of a time when this hasn't been a problem with multiple displays).

At current I am trying to arrange my desktop icons manually, but every time I am *almost* done rearranging them windows will just suddenly scatter them to the wind for no reason. Previously this used to just randomly be an issue when the resolution would change while opening an app, but this is the first time I've seen it happen while rearranging things. I have tried almost a dozen times now to get them re-ordered and windows has randomly scattered them every. single. time.

In doing all of this annoying rearranging I have just discovered what the issue seems to be - it would appear that there is an issue with *one* of the icons on my desktop. If I arrange my other icons and then try to move that one (seemingly corrupt) icon, all of the icons get re-scattered, however if I move it *first* it seems to move around ok unless I move the other icons and then move that one icon again. I seem to have found a fix for all of this, however: put the icon in the recycling bin and then take it back out. After doing so now everything seems to work fine again.

Please try below steps and check if it helps to stop rearranging desktop icon automatically.

• Right click on desktop, click on View.
• Uncheck Auto arrange icons.

For issue related Start menu check if it has set for full screen try to Off it.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Click on Start, turn Off Use Start full screen.
