Windows 10: desktop.ini files missing on windows 11 even when show hidden files is selected

I used to customise icon folders with all windows operating systems. However when you moved that folder to other place in the same disk or to other disk,that icon disapeared. But I resolved that issue changing the adress where the ico file was located in the desktop.ini file.Now in windows 11, I can't find those desktop.ini files which it's supposed are automatically created by the operating system. This happens, even when the view hidden files option is selected. Does Windows 11 create those desktop. ini files?, where are they?, or it works in different way and those desktop.ini are not gene

GetSections() will return a string[] of section names. If you want the values too, just do a for or for loop to enumerate them. For example:

hidden files are not showing

Hey Orko! My first suggestion would be a restart. This may fix the issue.

If it doesn't then try this:

Click on the Windows icon in the lower left corner and type folder.

• Select Show hidden files and folders from the search results.

• In the Advanced settings column, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, then click Apply.

You might also want to go into the options where hidden files option is located and turn off "hide protected system files" as this might be ticked and not letting you see some options.

I also suggest running a malwarebytes and windows defender scan on your PC.
