Windows 10: Desktop mode not working at times

I have been having trouble with my HP Envy x360 in a way that when I close my laptop and open it again an hour or so later, the mouse and keyboard won't work. Basically, it get stuck on desktop mode and it doesn't work. I have tried to switch it to tablet mode and back to desktop, but when I try to rotate my laptop, it won't do it automatically like it's supposed to and I have no clue on how to manually do it. The only solution that I have found that works is resetting my laptop, but that gets really annoying when I have my apps opened and I have to closed them all so I can use the mouse/keyboard.

Desktop Time-out Mode

I followed this suggestion and it didn't work. But I found a similar question about screen saver issues (sorry, not time-out mode) on the forum and followed the suggestion and it worked.

 

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.

Windows 10 Onscreen keyboard is on HotKey mode when 2-in-1 is in tablet mode.

• When you say that everything is fine with real keyboard in desktop mode, do you refer to the physical keyboard?
  
• Does the onscreen keyboard work properly in desktop mode?
