Windows 10: Desktop PC is stuck in automatic repair loop - can only access the MSi BIOS

I made the stupid decision to turn my pc off using the power button before checking if it'd started up properly turned it on but realised I wanted a nap and now it's stuck in the automatic repair loop. I've tried booting it in safe mode by turning it on and off repeatedly but that doesn't work. I can't get into my recovery settings, f3 does nothing and f11 takes me into a boot drive selection. Del takes me to the BIOS so I've been looking through there. Any help is appreciated as I really need to get back to work. Thank you.

Desktop PC stuck at Preparing Automatic Repair - F11 goes to MSi Click Bios 5

My sons desktop computer has been working fine until recently when he attempted to power on and the startup stuck at Preparing Automatic Repair. If I press DEL or F11 as I have seen suggested, it goes to MSi Click Bios 5 screen. I don't know what to do from either screen and am looking for guidance.

Stuck on Automatic Repair Loop for HP Envy

I'm stuck on the Automatic Repair Loop with my HP Envy and nothing I see online seems to be working

• I'm unable to access the "Advanced Options" - it always just pushed restarts the computer
  
• I'm unable to reset by BIOS - holding ESC of F10 don't seem to work
