Windows 10: Desktop Rearranges on domain computers

In a Windows Domain with a Server 2019 DC we have folder redirection.


From time to time, the connection with the server and some Win 10 and Win 7 clients is lost, and the files become unavailable. Also the desktop icons reset to the auto arranged order.


Please help find the cause, I found no messages in Event log.

W10 rearranging my desktop

Hi Anton,

Possible temporary issue occurred on your computer, thus causing the desktop icons to rearrange is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend unchecking the Auto arrange icons option and observe if the issue still persists. Follow
the steps below:

• Right-click anywhere on the desktop screen.
  
• Hover the cursor to View, then uncheck the Auto arrange icons option.
