Windows 10: Desktop running Win 10. I am having mouse problems, mouse and keyboard are old.

I am now using a MS USB wireless keyboard and mouse. I plan on replacing them with a MS USB wireless keyboard and mouse. My mouse is very eratic and I cannot seem to fix it, it is old so, I plan on replacing both keyboard and mouse. Question: Do I need to Un-Install the old keyboard and mouse before installing the new ones?

Unresponsive Mouse and Keyboard in Windows 10

One reason why your mouse and keyboard is not working is because of an outdated driver. We suggest that you update the mouse and keyboard driver by following the steps below:

• Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
• Select Device Manager.
• Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.
