Windows 10: Desktop seems to not work

Hello, last week, I got stuck in a bsod loop. I had updated my drivers through a 3rd party app, but didnt restart to complete the installation process. Instead my laptop ran out of battery and I suspect that may have corrupted something. The stop code was: System thread exception not handled. In an attempt to solve the issue, I uninstalled the graphics driver through cmd in bsod troubleshooting screen. That didnt help.

So I pulled out last ditch effort and factory reset the laptop without deleting my files. After that, I succesfully logged into the laptop, but the whole desktop was black. After I restarted the system, the default Windows wallpaper loaded, but the desktop was practically not responding. I could only access the recycling bin and the disk C: . When I moved stuff from the bin to the desktop, they didnt appear there and the screensaver was black. Other of my folders display this error: Location is unavailable" with the text"C\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Documents is unavaliable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted."

The Desktop folder displays the error: "Desktop is not available. Access denied".

I tried to restart again, but I got stuck in the same bsod loop. Now I factory reset again to gain access to the laptop and ran a chkdsk scan and sfc scan. The former prompted me to scan on the next boot and the latter completed succesfully. I am scared to restart again, because I dont want to end up in the same bsod loop again. Sorry for explaining all the details, because I wanted to give as much information as possible. Any and all help is appreciated

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
