    Desktop showing Start menu, not icons I want!


    After this latest Windows 10 update, my desktop shows the icons from the start menu that I have pinned. This is NOT what I want on the desktop. I want icons like control panel, printer, my financial program, etc. These were all there before. How do I get rid of those from the Start menu and put on what I want?

    Also, my browser is full window and will not collapse.

    I HATE this update!

    Please help!

    Computer not showing desktop or start icon?

    My computer is not showing the desktop icons or the start menu bar... everytime I want to open something i have to use the windows task manager. anyone know why this happens? also when i want to open My Computer properties or something it says I'm missing the RUNDLL32.EXE

    Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

    You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

    I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
