Windows 10: desktop start menu and search button not working

desktop start menu and search button not working


i have done dsm and sfc and reinstalled windows none of it works

i use desktop daily i noticed that when turning on pc and first thing i need to open is start buton after that it will work and start and search functions are reacting


but when turning on system and i dont open startmenu first then after long not touching the start button it will stop reacting this is a bug in windows and not system why

because Laptop also has same issue and other two friends have this issue


i already checked sytem files and dsm clean



is this bug or issue already being confirmed somwhere in the issue list or not ?

Start Button displaying but not working


The start button was working until there was a forced reboot (power failure). Then left click (normal click) over the start button does absolutely nothing. Right click brings up a menu but "programs" and also "settings" are missing and not included on this list. Search or Task View buttons do not work either with "normal" click. Does anyone have any suggestion or fixes?

I followed the above step, did not work for me. Searching in start menu is very slow. Please suggest appropriate solution.
