Windows 10: Desktop turning Black when highlighting Desktop apps

Hi,I've been having trouble with Windows 10 and apps in general. I've had an issue with my desktop turning black occasionally when I highlight applications i.e if I select my whole desktop background will turn black. I've troubleshooted a little bit but haven't found a permanent solution.One temporary solution I found is going to the task manager and restarting "windows explorer" through the task manager. However, I want to make sure there isn't an extreme underlying issue that needs to be solved. I am relatively new to the PC world and only built my PC a couple of months ago.I've also had i

Desktop background gone black after a few minutes of use on laptop.

Desktop background and taskbar going black could be due to software conflicts.

We would like to know some information to better assist you with your concern:

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Did you get any error messages or error codes?

In the meantime, we suggest that you try to check if the "Show Windows Background" option is turned on. Follow the steps below:

• Open Settings in the Start menu.
• Go to Ease of Access, then on the left side, click
  Other options.
• Turn on Show Windows Background and check if it works.

Black glitch on desktop

So once and a while I get this thing where my desktop slowly turn black, like when you hover over a icon or highlight

[1] Press the Win + X keys together > Command Prompt (Admin).
[2] Highlight ALL the commands below.

[3] Press the Ctrl + C keys together.
[4] Right-click inside the Administrator: Command Prompt Window > Paste.
[5] Press Enter.

• When the above has finished processing . . .

[6] Right-click on the title bar of the Administrator: Command Prompt Window > Edit > Select All.
[7] Right-click on the title bar of the Administrator: Command Prompt Window again > Edit > Copy.
